TrueCraft's founder, Zach, went to work as a wooden boatbuilder's apprentice at the age of 14 in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York. He has been carving and building all kinds of things since before then. 

Over the last 25 years, Zach has also trained with multiple contractors on numerous projects including building houses from the foundation up, demolition and renovation, cabinetry, artistic woodcarving, deck building, flooring, and many other projects of his own. 

Zach, his wife, Melissa, and their 1-year-old daughter, Kortana, now live in Leesburg, Virginia.
